I really like the way my high beams have a blue tint to them from the reflection of the blubs I use. I plan to use the same bulb only in H1 and H4 but do you think I will keep the same tint look with the JDM one piece headlights? Babak has me on a waiting list for his next group buy.
I have been looking at pics of the JDM compared to the USDM and they seem to have a different reflector.
I know the beam patterns are different and all but do you think I will have luck when I swap the headlights? Either way it is getting done. Looking for advice from people that have done the swap and noticed the change.

I'm not really sure what you're asking but I think you are wondering if the color of your bulbs will be the same when you swap to the jdms. Are you talking about when the lights are on or off?
You shouldn't see any difference in color when the lights are on. I'm not sure about when off...I've never taken a close look at the relection in my jdms. Most people use H1 and H4 bulbs in their jdms. I'm not sure how you'll fit H3's.
Right now on my high beams while the lights are off you can see a blue tint to the lights. Will it be the same with the JDMs? Can you see in the pics how my high beams are a blue color?
Well when you look at any headlights from the front the reflective part should make you see the bulb so yes you still will have the wonderful every civic in the world blue look.
In the JDM's the "high beam" or the center lights don't have the little cap over the bulb so you can see the bulb directly. If you look at them from the front of the car you can see the tint of the bulb. Don't worry about it, they will look sweet.
You do know that the two different bulbs are the H1 and the H4 not the H3.
On a side note I can see why you still want this, with a car that color it keeps the scheme nicely.

Thank you Zimmlude. I didn't realize I put H3
That is the point I was after. I didn't know if there would be enough of a reflection of the bulb without that cap thing. I don't know what to call it. The bulbs I use show white. Not blue. I didn't want a blue tint to the light beam and didn't realize it was blue in the housing until I was at the car wash.
Here is a night pic that shows exactly what I see at night.
i know what your talking about....and let me tell ya, they look 10 times better, cuz it looks like a mix of black and dark blue when your lights are off....very mean, ive had alot of people tell me that already...youll like
Andy, the blue hue will appear in the JDM's as well. You will be happy with the result. I have a picture of my car in a show and you can really see the blue color in the headlights (don't have the pic on my computer). You will like the result!
