will 5th gen tein pillowballs fit on 4th gen?

will 5th gen tein pillowballs fit on 4th gen?

I am not sure about the front, because they are diff part numbers on teins website... *gulp*... the rears are the same number though... as far as i can tell... i cant seem to be sure though, as its a little hard to tell if i am looking at the pillowball section.

Thanks, and please respond asap if you know!
Joe

yes they will, but with a small modification. all you have to do is cut off the 2 extra bolts that are on the mount and then it fits perfectly.

5th gen and 4th gen springs, dampers and upper mounts are compatible.

Control arms and stuff I'm not sure about..

I wrote a huge thing listing ALL the compatible suspension parts including aftermarket strut and tie bar pieces a while ago I guess it never made it into the FAQ.

DO NOT CUT the bolts of the pillow mounts. They just press out..

There are three studs that from a triangle around the center "hub" the two smaller ones outside that circle are the ones you press out. Iused an arbor press But you could use a C-Clamp and a short piece of pipe to press the two bolts out .. they press "down". I guess you could also brace the pillow around the back of the bolts and hammer it out. It doesn't take much..

JIC makes a Prelude application?

I know that the 5th gen and 4th gen shock assemblies are exactly the same.. except for the SH... you can't put SH springs into a non-SH Shock.. but you can put an entire Base suspension into a SH chassis and vice versa..
