I have read all the searched threads but I want a JDM H23 preferably but USDM would work possibly with 5sp tranny an all. An I would prefer to buy it from a company. I am not looking for a H22 i do care if it is the same price. Any ways where is a good place to get one I currently have an H23 but i plan to possibly boost an I want a newer one.
Thanks

There never was a JDM H23, it only came in USDM Preludes. There is a H23 VTEC offered in the 2000+ Accord Sir-T Wagon, but they are incredibly rare, cost about $3000 for a longblock and ECU, and actually have LESS HP than the JDM H22. Call Local junkyards and salvage yards.

Yo, how do I get in on this, I just blew my H23, looking for a new engine
How much for:
JDM H22
USDM H22
USDM H23
Stock H23
Assuming that you can get them, I would be extremely interested. I dont have a car to drive
hey how's it going, if your looking for a non v=tec JDM motor you want to buy a f 22 B motor. Don't listen to what other people say cause when i blew my H 23 everyone was telling me that f means sohc accord, but for some reason it doesn't? f 22 B is out of the japanese prelude si. I'll be getting my car back soon i'll e-mail u with the results! good luck and look at every concievable option before u buy

The F series motors are SOHC
The H series motors DOHC
Honda is pretty clever, see how the letter H has 2 points on top, like for Dual camshafts... the letter F has a flat top, like a SOHC engine
B series = DOHC, rotate the B 90 degrees to the left... Look again
D series = SOHC, rotate the letter the same way
Its gets all funky with the K series but it almost works.
