Its a new cat, just big enough for a 5.7l motor... Its huge, but it has flanges for a prelude. Bolts right up to my RS*R, im still waiting on a new downpipe before I can install it.

Not legal, a testpipe is just a straight pipe instead of a cat. there is no catalytic element in the pipe.

A high flow cat is legal as long as its CARB exempt, though it might not work on a OBD2 car because they have a second 02 sensor after the cat to determin if the cat is working right. The high flow cat might not clean the fuel out of the exhaust well enough to keep from tripping CEL's.
Highflow cats are usually not legal. Your best bet is to have someone make a custom cat using a new converter that is designed for a larger motor. Larger bore = higher flow

no, his is ghettofied because he did a JDM H22 swap and left the Si cat on which has different flanges. So he had his stock downpipe cut off before the flange and had his old Si downpipe flange welded on. It's crooked though and right now he has a wicked nasty exhaust leak. I think I remembered everything.
