I just called our honda dealership and the guy could not find IAC listed and he said he found and electronic indle valve and he said the whole thing is 254 dollars! that cant be right. where can i find one or can someone give me the part number from honda so i can make it easy for them. thanks
Hmm it looks like in the pic that it is describing the whole unit and the guy at the dealership said i have to buy it as a whole but 254 dollars for something that i dont even know if it will fix the idle surging. i dunno what i should do?
Trust me if the MAP was bad you would throw code 3 and/or 5. You would def know cause it feels like you have no HP at all, everything is messed up with a bad MAP. Trust me.
EDIT: I think I have an extra one, I will let you know tommarrow it is to cold outside right now, but I have a few IM laying around in the garage. I will pm you tommarrow.

I do not need the fast idle thermo valve. i need the iac. i still dunno if its a vacuum leak or if its the iac though and i dunno if i wanna spend the money on it if its not going to fix my problem.
Hey charlie my cable modem has been acting up so its kinda hard to catch you online. as soon as i get this thing fixed i will try and find you. if its really important please PM and il get back to you. Later
Hey guys my idle is still messed up and i was talking to someone about vacuum lines that run to some box that controls the secondary intake runners and he said there were 2 lines and showed me a pick of his IM with one capped off and i was looking at my IM today and i have that line capped off too. i dunno why but it is. Its on the left side of the IM at the top. there are 2 lines there and the right one is capped off. could someone explain what it is and were is goes. This could be my problem but prolly not. worth a shot though...
