Take out the fill bolt, take out the drain bolt, let it all drain out, put the drain bolt back in, fill the trans until the fluid is level with the fill hole.. Just fill it until fluid comes out using a funnel with a hose attached to it. I just use 10w30. It takes 2 quarts.
Found that on Hondatech.com
I did a 30 sec search on Google, start there. You might be able to dig up more than I was able to.

Hope this helps, otherwise I'm not really sure.

Can someone else verify this?

Search and you shall find.

Write-up: Changing Transmission Fluid (MT)

Method is the same for a 4th gen. If you're filling in and it's coming back out then it's full.

Yeah you're full buddy.

You could do a drain and fill to be sure. Buy two quarts of Honda MTF and drain your trans. Replace bolt with new washer. Wipe everything off clean. I pull the speedo and add it there. Two full quarts, put speedo back in and wipe up. Then you can see any leaks.

That's it. No need for all the leveling and side filling.

Red.
