Where can i buy a jdm h22a for a good price?

the question basically sums it up.... i have a 96 vtec lude w/ 92k miles.... i've heard numerous accounts where a jdm h22a is ALOT stronger than a USDM one so i might as well get one... Does ne one know where i can get one for a good price? everything included..thanx

Steve at www.hondamotorsonline.com hooked me up with my JDM H22A. I bought a long block for like 1100.00$ Everything went nice and smooth.

It's shame you're not in the UK, I know of a complete set up (everything included) for £750...$1200 or so.

Thats it! You have to remember that the long block does not come with a ECU or a Tranny. You said that you allready have a VTEC, so you most likely will not need a new Tranny or a new ECU. I think Steve charged me 250.00 for shipping and handling also.

P.S. If you do buy from Steve, send the payment Certified mail and track it also. That seems like a lot of money to be sending regular mail. Spend a couple more dollars and everything will go as smooth as a baby's,.... well you know. Hope everything goes good!

Is there something wrong with your motor? 92K is not bad for mileage I would keep it. The JDM isn't necessarily stronger, it's a little more powerful.
