i've seen a couple on ebay from time to time, otherwise, you can always check with junkyards (seriously, dealer's often use junkyards for engines for non-warranty customers).

good luck, when i was looking to replace my h23 the places i found charged just a few hundred less than the h22 swap. maybe you can stumble across one in a junkyard.

go with the f22b from hmotors... do a search on f22b and you'll find all the information you need

personally.. i got the engine for 675 locally.. i think shops were asking over 1400 for the h22

got questions or anything on the f22b .. hit me up.. i swaped that into my 92' si after i spit a con-rod through the block (h23)

Why would you want to go from the h23, to the f22? Less power....

Anyway, ya, i had a bad rod bearing go in my h23, and finding a motor was a pain in the arse. All the junkyards wanted, (like cifer6425 said) a few hundred less than the h22. I waited for somebody on this website to start parting out their lude. So i scooped the motor up from them at a reasonable price.

i have a complete h23 for sale out of my 93 prelude. The only problem is, i took it out because it spun a main bearing. If that is fixable for cheap than it is all yours. Let me know if you are interested. I also have an h22 head and all the other parts if you want to build up a frankenstein.

lol, I still can't believe this though, I really want to swap out my H23, but I can't afford something like an engine now ... I sure hope someone like you comes looking for an H23 when I can afford an H22

I had an h22, but when i got my oil changed the guy didnt tighten the bolt all the way down. So the oil leaked out, didnt know until the car cut off. So now the block is locked. So im selling my built h22 head, ecu, vafc, headers, and intake. I'm going to get a 2.3 si motor and put a turbo on it. I know tthat I'll start out with less power, but I want a change.

to preludatic.. yeah.. forget about the f22b ... there's no point for anybody to even touch that engine.. it sucks just so much ass and has no power what so ever..

just go out.. get a h23 with high mialage with or without secondary problems and put that into the lude.. and once that fails ... then you can bitkh some more about how the f22b has no power...

man... did you even bother with the search button or even know what the f22b is?
