Wheels and slicks??

Alright homies...I'm thinking about getting some lightweight drag racing rims with slicks. So far I've found Axis wheels to be pretty good. They weigh in a 9lbs. As for the slicks I've been thinking about gettting M/T's..the only think is that I don't know what size of M/T to get. I've also heard that Hoosiers are good as well as Bogart rims but those are too expensive.

I'm thinking about upgrading cuz I'm seeing too many people bust axles cuz of too much power to heavy ass rims and tires. And since I really think I'll be in the 13's soon I don't want to bust one out there in Moroso Raceway.

What kind of rims and tires do you guys suggest???? Thanks.

Yeah I've also heard of Lenso rims. I'm also not sure on pricing for those either.

How do those slicks work for you on the track???

yea man, them slicks alone off the line is a sudden rush... 60 ft. times where i live i got a 2.1 now up at 3500 feet above sea level thats awsome for an import car. but since u way down at sea level with slicks i bet u can pull 1.9's easy...

PS. u have the JDM motor, can u email me, i may be getting one this week, i just wanna ask you some stuff///

Damn...1.9's would be great. But I think the slicks will have to wait for quite a while. Sure I'll hit you up....what's up??
