Wheel hop

i dont know about the rest of u, but i get pretty bad wheel hop in my 5-speed Si on semi-wet roads if im not careful. car starts jumping and my rpm's climb but i dont move too much, lol

anyways, in my mom's maxima and in my old 88 eagle premier (both automatics), i can floor it and the tires would just slip, no jumpiness or anything. i dont know if they have LSD or what...

so what causes wheel hop? any way of reducing it?

yep! I have Hyper Flex energy suspension bushings, and I also am going to put in the polyurethane bushings for the motor mounts. Hope to be a good combo.

I heard that the motor mounts just snap right in. Let me know, after you get them, if they are just an easy snap-in set.

If I can get rolling first and then punch it, my tires start slipping when vtec kicks in Once, on a damp road, I got a little spin from vtec in 2nd gear

Ahhh... JDM H22...
