Does anyone know the true drop of Tein STech springs? i've seen everything from 0.8 - 1.8. I'd like to know how much of a drop to expect before I get them.
Yeah....definitely. I have to drive so slow around here especially when I get to pot holes and speed bumps. People always get pissed off when behind because I go so slow over speed bumps and stuff.
The ride on the springs is smooth and a bit tighter. You'll like it.......I would only trade them in for a set of TEIN SS coilovers.
tein's lower quite a bit when settling...never do your alignment right after you install them..wait a month!
but then it's pure enjoyment...mine ended up too low after i set it perfectly and i got my alignment too early too, now i got to raise them and align it again...
I'm saving up a bit to get the Tein's Type Flex. My Tanabe's are junk, I wished that I would have waited 2 years for the Tein's Type Flex, even though my car looks good really low. With my Tanabe SS Pro, I can't even raise the front of the car over 2.5 inches from the original height ride. If I do, all it does is compress the springs and increase the spring rate and make the ride stiffer, and ride like crap. But if I lower it to about 3 inches from the original height, the ride is really nice, but I can't do that since I won't be able to get out of my drive way with out scraping. The guys that I bought the set from told me that in Japan, when they slam their cars, they mean to slam it, and since their roads are all so smooth compare to the states, so they can do that. That's is why I am doing the switch.
