Whats up with my window??

My passengers side window is great when its all the way up but when its down a just a little bit its like somethings not connected cause like i hit a bump an it sounds like its just sittin on the plate that pushes it up an down but its like its not connected so i hit a bump an rattles like its hoppin up an down. Is this just a bushin or what?

Maybe the glass is loose on the regulator... pretty sure u can pop your door panal off and take a look...just a couple of bolts hold the glass to the regulator...

And the glass is fine when its up because you are applying pressure to it so it won't rattle..

I think you will find most 4G preludes are that way. Mine does it. The slide doesn't hold the rivet in there that guides the window up. It just rattles in there a little bit. I don't think there is anything you can do about it.

My 93 Si is the same way. It's not as horrible as you are describing (or maybe I just read it wrong), but it's definately noticable. Popping off the door panel may reveal something to you though and would definately be worth the time to check into.
