What's my Prelude worth to you?

Just as the subject states:

What would my Prelude be worth to you as the Lude community?

It's a 1996 S (base) model. Black, 48K miles (orig), pwr windows, OEM fog lights, OEM six speaker audio and single disc CD player, 5 speed, OEM accessory 15" wheels, short shifter, AEM cai, front and rear strut bars. In my family since new, garaged most of its life. All in all, a very nice, unmolested car, with an F22...

I would pay max 6 for it... I mean 48k Miles Though people prefer having low mileage so you can just do a swap.

Very nice example of a 4th gen . . .but the F22 is going to be the death-blow

Yeah... And it is OBD - II... If it was a 95 vtec with about 48k miles... I would buy it in a heart beat...

5k.... seems very very clean which has great show potential... you need to sell it to an enthusiast though b/c that's not a great selling point to the avg. parent looking for a good car for their son/daughter....

i woudln't pay more than 4k for the car... not to be mean or anything, many people sell preludes in general where i live... i've seen many vtec models sell for 5k and under.

Not selling it to an enthusiast would be your best choice, then the F22 wouldn't even matter.

i consider this car in excellent shape and wouldn't go under 5k for it. i've seen tons of preludes in atlanta for under 5k but none that i would want to own... good luck

Yeah, I've seen the book values and such. It's funny though, dealers around here will pay upwards of 5 grand on a trade. The car will most likely be sold to my brother-in-law, the car is worth a lot to most of my family members because we know what's been done to the car and the kind of care my father and I provide to our vehicles.

I was simply curious what you guys thought. Thanks.

Not parting the car out, and I think it's sold anyway.
