whats that lock on the drivers side floor

on the floor of the driver side there is a box with a keyhole. whats that lock and open?

It's for the trunk, and only the master key can lock/unlock it. So if you use valet, you give the attendant the valet keys but if you already locked the trunk using that hole the valet key won't be able to open it.

Yep, same key. It enables/disables the trunk popper.
That's why there's a keyhole over the folding rear seat - so the valet can't get in. So you can store your guns and drugs and contraband back there when you go to a fancy restaurant.

its the key to horsepower and torque.........you haven't unlocked it yet?????? j/k

yeah if you bought it used sometimes they don't give you a valet key cause most ppl lose them

and if they really wanted to get into your trunk all they have to do is pull off that cover and pull the trunk release
