What's a good CAI?

I've been looking around lately and I'm still deciding on what to get. I was gonna go for the AEM Polished CAI, but since I started to browse, I'm just wondering now. Any thoughts?

what do you guys think about the cold air intakes on ebay? is it worth it to buy them or should i go all out and buy an AEM intake? let me know because i would like to save as much money as possible and if i am going to get the same results from a no name brand compared to lets say AEM, i would rather go for a cheaper one then.

let me know, thanks

This has been debated before, an intake is an intake.
Don't blow $200 on a brand name when you can blow $60 on an Ebay generic, or $15 on making your own.

I have an Injen, but I also purchased it long before the huge Ebay import scene.

ebay, ill say it once and ill say it again. The one's on ebay are the same they take one AEM and make a mold from it and then they have an intake with the same design for 1/4 the cost. They pay no research and devolopement so they can afford to sell there intakes for incredibly cheaper, i suppose if you want to waste your money than buy AEM otherwise be smart and get a knock off pipe with a good filter.

The cheap-o Ebay Intakes are NON-CARB legal. So anyone living in California such as myself, if you want to pass the visual, you would have to put your stock intake box back in when getting smogged.

go to www.import-store.com, if i remember right, it's like $75 for the CP CAI, ask Justin, he's a really cool guy, he'll hook you guys up, by the way, i think he has the best price for AEM CAI too, just ask him for the price

You'd rather pay another $150 than another 15 minutes of your time? hm.. to each their own.

Luckily here in Brevard county FL we don't have ANY kind of vehicle inspection.. course, all the rednecks and ricers drive around w/no exhaust whatsoever
