whats going on with my car

for some reason, all of a sudden my defroster stopped working and same with my power door locks and ciggarette lighter

i'm starting to get pissed of at my car over the small minor stuff that keeps happening...

please help.

check your fuses. might have blown one.

oh and my intermittent wipers... everything was working a few weeks ago

+ 1 to the fuses. Check by the dead pedal and under the hood. Check your headlight fluid too.

i'll get right on the headlight fluid...

when i checked my fuses last, i didn't see any that were blown, and i wasn't even sure our 4th gens had fuses for everything... like we have an Acc. fuse under dash, but no individual fuses for acc.???

You really just have to check every fuse. I've had fuses go out for one thing and something completely different would quit working.

And yea, get synthetic headlight fluid. Use only the best.

just checked my fuses, and everything is good.

any other ideas as to why my power door locks aren't locking by hitting the switch?

Check the connectors to the controls. Something might be screwy in that area.

Hum, hopefully the rear defroster and them other lights are just bad grounds. I once had to soulder my tap again on it and was a comoplete PITA.

weird... i unplugged the connector for the door locks from the switch, and plugged it back in and everything works fine again

check your clock fuse under the hood.this happened to my lude and that was it.
