what's the cost for port and polish

for those fo you who did it, did you port and polish the whole head? or just the manifold?

I was just going to do the manifold for cost reasons but I got screwed and the guy never sent me the stock unit on eBay.

I got my head done at portflow and a valve job. It was around 1000 for both. Still haven't gotten it back on the car.

check out the head packages for your block around a $1000 for basically a new head that is ready for you performance needs.
I 've seen some members not feel they are a good comp because of their lack of break in time???/
I dont know my self since I havent dealt with them but they have really good prices I think. And they sell throttle bodies for like
$175 too

got my head done port/polish, 3-angle valve job and all new valves for 500$. if you are in the ohio area i can give you the number of the guy that did it. joe leach's machine shop service.

toofastprelude: thats sounds pretty cheap, do u think if i went to other machine shops they would give me that same price, i live in mass. ohh isnt there different stages or p&p........

there are different stages ot porting/polishing. just tell him the mods you have and he will tell you how big you should go with it. I noticed a good difference in power once i got the head back on the car. hope it works out for you. and BTW anyone else from cincinnati?
