Whats the best way to change manual tranny oil???

Aite fellas lookin for a better way to do this. Last time I did this it was a pain in the ass and made a big mess. Anyway does the tranny drain like its suppose to while the car is on jack stands if they are level? or should I drop the car and then tilt it using the jack on the drivers side and then fill it by jacking it up on the passengers side?

Any suggests would be appreciated

Thanks
Dane

As far as I know (or have read out of the helms NE ways) you need to fill it with the car level. This is to make sure you fill it up enough and not too much. As far as draining, just take the fill plug out and the drain plug. Don't worry about the little bit left inside after it is drained. Then (this is where the car needs to be level) either rig up some tubing or something and fill the tranny up to the fill hole.
