whats the best catalyc converter to pass smog?

i have a 1993 prelude vtec 200k miles and i didnt pass smog in so cal,Glendora...(max/average/myresult):
HC CO% NO
15mph :87/21/183 0.51/0.06/0.85 701/150/1774
25mph: 52/13/64 0.49/0.05/0.02 730/136/1139



the pepboys guy sed it might be my egr... and im thinking maybe i need a tune up or to replace the oil and sparkplugs..cuz i just bought it last last week... also i was gonna try the seafoam...and i dunno but maybe the oil stop leak thickener maybe have made me fail? also maybe i need to upgrade to a better catalyc converter? so whats the best one for emissions and having a nice car but not racing cuz id like to pass smog.... thx maybe u guys could tell me what is wrong from ur past exp....thx

If you throw in an OEM Catalytic Converter, the numbers there will drop dramatically. Put in a new cat before you clean out the EGR ports.

will the efficiency in catching smog decrease or increase if i use a random tech hi flow catalyc converter? cuz i figure oem is like 15 years old...
