What are your thoughts ?

So I just got my prelude with a swap h22, i'm pretty happy

Its is probably the fastest car and first sport car I have ever owned. I'm still trying to perfect my driving on a standard. I am by no means a very skilled driver and I know there is so much more I need to learn.

So it brings me to my question, so I getting a feel for my car, so you know when you are drving and you stop to make a turn either left or right turn, after you turn the wheel and you have that feel to just floor the gas in an open road, I was wondering why when I floor the gas why the lock on the steering doesn't automatically straigthen, I tend to have to correct the lock manually, I know in previous sedan economy vehicle they tend to correct itself.

So explanations???? Is it because its fairly fast vehicle or FWD or could it be something wrong with my car. At normal speed or slow speed it corrects itself.

First of all: The Prelude is not a sports car.

As far as the car 'self correcting' out of turns, you've got me. I don't remember my Prelude ever steering itself out of turns, regardless of throttle input.

Google the phrase "Torque Steer".

There's no lock on the wheel when you turn. That would extremely dangerous.

There are 2 actually. The first one locks the wheel from turning when the key is not turned to the ON position. The second one locks the wheel from turning left/right too far when the key is turned to the ON position.

But he's not talking about either of those.
