What kit is on the Blue one? Is there a web page to look at the full thing. I like the way that looks.(especially since thats practicly the colour of my car. SWEET
As for the rims, I know a guy where I live here and they are blank anodized with a red anodized lip. He said they are imported and can only be gotten that way But hes a HUGE ass:finger: and probally a lair , so I try to find out for ya if no one else knows.
Originally posted by mafrug Those rims with the red lip and the rest black can only be imported. They're actually pretty tight
Whys that? I have seen several ads in mags with anodized rims for sale before.
The mass majority of all rims are made in Tiwain. All by the same manufacturers, thats why there are so many knock off types that are identical to the real deal Ex. Koing Tantrums - 20 different names use this rim and call it something else, and sell them for cheaper, but they are the same rim(quality and all). Its called badge engineering.
The only type that you dont get knock off's are hard core racing rims. You can get the look but not the quality and weight for cheaper.
I was wondering how you like the FZ4's. I was looking at a set yesterday. I got a price of $210.00 Canadian ($136US) for 215/40V/17's.
I want the T1S's, but don't feel like spending that much on a set of tires.
Tell me what ya think.

Aren't Konig Tantrums a knock off of Advans?
I saw some fake (or badge engineered) Mugen rims that just basically shattered.
I always thought that the originals were made somewhere and then someone copied those, and sent them to be made in Taiwan.
I learn something new everyday.
I've heard the term badge engineering before, but not in the wheel industry

Hey... the tyres aren't that bad. The girl that owned the car before me had the dealership change the tyres, and they put these on. I decided not to stray from them when I had to replace the front ones, and just decided that I'd like them to match the rear ones, I ended up paying 90US per tyre. They're only V rated in stock size too.
I think if I could've done it over again, I'd get either Bridgestone RE730's, or Kumho 712's. Both cheaper than Toyo, and better performing IMO.
If you can get FZ4's really cheap, get them, but, I've heard AWESOME stuff about the T1S's... so I'd save for those.
