What would you do?? keep rims or??

Ok..i'm kind of confussed to what i should do...sell my 17" enkie rs6 and leave my stock rims
and re92's on...or keep my 17's...

I have tein SS coilovers, but thinking of getting f/r sway bars, f/r strut bars and the cf lip from satan srv and just suffering with my stock rims and tires for about 1 year till i pay off my car...i have my sides and front stock lip painted to match my car...so it still looks pretty good stock!

i don't have any money to put on the cf lip now, paint and mold..gonna wait till i can paint the
whole car, but it's so tempting to buy for $450 and save till i can do the whole exterior!

SO WHAT WOULD YOU DO??? HMMMMMM?

i love my stock rims. i painted em black cause the finish on them was terribly hazy. they were white for 2 weeks last year, then got painted flat black. i just did these in a semi gloss.

once i feel like it im going to have them refinished. i love em shiny but i cant have that right now. so black will do. i dont use them ever because the tires suck so bad. will be getting a couple dr's for them next month

Get SE rims if you want to go back to stock. All other Prelude rims suck.

I have a set of 94-96 if anyones interested. I got them on my accord. in some ways I do like the 92-93 better, but these are lighter.

thanks for the replies, but didn't answer my question...kinda turned into a-which lude has better stock rims post!!

I have the stock ones on my car right now, the one in the pick above, just silver...don't really care for looks right now, they look alright to me for now..

this whole post is to decide whether you would sell the Enkie's and buy those other parts: sway bars, strut bars, and satan's lip, and wait to purchase new rims and tires another day...which could be next year or even longer depending of money situation...what would you do???? again???

thanks guys...still in a dilema though...

i'm just kinda bored of my rims...and that lip i would love to have

and i heard you should get sway bars over any strut bars first for suspension mods..after shocks&springs of course...for real good handling, strut bars should be last shouldn't they??

I kinda like the dropped look on my stock rims too but i'd much rather have some nice rims on there...

i really want to reduce my body roll though...my car handles pretty good right now with the teins, but i want MORE! I want more money too..that's the main problem!

Then the answer seems obvious. Sell the wheels, and upgrade your suspension. Done.

i'm sure all you really need is the rear bar. i got the rear S/T bar along with F/R STBs. you basically need all of them especially when you have aftermarket sway bars.

I would sarcarfice the wheels temporarily for other suspension mods. It will pay off once you get all your new parts on.

You can only look at your rims for so long, but it never gets old to take corners going 80 mph and having a bad ass suspension you will notice everyday

EDIT: Eu4ik - Why u gotta post that drunk "bling bling" pic of me? we saw the wheels better in the first pic anyways. Oh well, i guess ill endorse the black stockers

later,
tim

Go Neuspeed for a front front bar. It is the absolute best bar, and very easy to install.

No way, dude... I love my stock 96 alloys, hehe. They actually don't look too bad on the 4th gen, compared to other stock 4th gen rims, IMO.

I wish it were that easy...

being without rims for about a year is gonna be hard...having a dope lip and sway/strut bars would be really awesome...dillema..dillema!!

I had stock Vtec rims with my 4WS. I sold them and got SE rims, and I painted the inside Azure. Also, the SE rims are the lightest of the rims. Each to his own though. All that matters is what makes you happy.
