what wires are negative and pos. (connecting speakers)

does anyone know which wires are pos. and which are neg.? I'm trying to connect my door and trunk speakers right now. there's a red/black, and red/green in the doors, and red/blue, and red/white in trunk any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm hoping to get this done tonight, thanx!

the red one should be positive, i think...not totally sure about it though...

drivers front:
blu/grn = +
gry/blk = -
passenger front:
red/grn = +
brn/blk = -
driver rear:
blu/yel = +
gry/wht = -
passenger rear:
red/yel = +
brn/wht = -

straight out of my helms manual......get a helms if you dont have one, tells you everything you cold ever need to know about your car
