The people on SHO are telling me 10w-30 in the tranny!!! That really does not seem right considering most of em I have seen are like 70 weight. I bought some 70w-80 tranny oil. I have an LSD too though..

Should be in the owners manual dude. I believe 10w40 is what's really recommended.
Anyhow, I'd still get Honda MTF if I were you. Motor oil + extra additives and detergents = not breaking down as fast as regular oil. I know you could get synthetic, but I still say MTF all the way.
I have the OEM limited slip, and have the royal purple manual tranny fluid stuff... which is like 75-90W.... what would be the downside to this? I have to be a little careful when the tranny is cold but when I drive my car hard it seems REALLY smooth through the gates....
JDM Lude -- To tell you the truth, I can't answer that w/ respect to the JDM LSD tranny... they might have the same requirement, they might not.
LakeMount -- I'd get a hold of Billy (71dsp), or Todd (Marcucci), I think either of them might have a better answer for you. Which LSD are you using? I think there might be recommendations on some official home pages; quaife, kaaz... if you have the JDM tranny as well, I can't really tell you where to turn other than Billy or Todd.
I could do with knowing the answer to this one as well. I've got a JDM lude with factory LSD and am using 10w40 in it at the moment. I've only done about 2000 miles since the oil change and haven't had any problems, yet. I'd like to know what I *really* should be using though
I know you guys don't like Auto boxes but do any of you know anything about them ? Don't laugh!
Recently I've been gettin bad vibes through the chassis on the freeway which get worse when I accelerate. Found out that Honda have never replaced the tranny oil from new! & the miles are at 96k - Could this cause the prob' I'm having?
Any links or info you could give me about how they work, oil intervals, grade etc... would be appreciated

I'm not sure if that is your problem. I know auto trannies do require more maintanence than an Manual but I'm not sure if old fluid would cause your symptoms.
I recently had my original tranny fluid changed and the tech said that it looked brand new. 76,000 miles on the car.
You may want to perform a tranny service which would consist of a fluid change and a tranny filter change. It's cheap enough where you won't be loosing that much money if it isn't the problem. In the meantime, check to make sure that the tranny fluid is adjusted to the proper measurement on the tranny dipstick.
BTW: don't feel bad about having an auto tranny! I don't know why people in the import scene look down upon people with auto's. I had an auto Prelude before my current car and it was a great car.

... I am starting my JDM H22A Swap this weekend, Let me know too...
You should deffinetly switch to Redline or Honda MTF. Why do you think such product even exists?! Speaking from experience, my gears are grinding bad at 100,000 because someone decided to use motor oil instead of what to should be used. Honda trannys suck. If you want your gears to grind later on, then keep the motor oil. I switched to Redline as soon as I bought the car, but the damage was already done.
