what sp[rings will set me as low as i am right now?

current set up: eibach sportlines, koni yellows

i want to get some new springs because i dont trust the sportlines anymore. ive heard nothing but good things about h&r, so im gonna go for those most likely..

PROBLEM-im a little lower than the sportlines claim to drop, so maybe the H&R Race springs would be close to my current height. annyone know if the Race will put me at about this same level?

heres a pic of me vs stock. sorry about the crappy pic, its all i have

i am only replacing springs, the konis stay and im not getting adj coilovers.

you'd have to go race, sports definitely aren't going to bring you that low.

This is me on neuspeed sports although they settled a little more. add .orig.jpg for biggies

i guess i need some pics of ppl on Race's. i dont want to be another inch from the ground, i like it exactly where i am cause i can make it over speed bumps on campus. definately cant be any higher than i am though. adj coilovers would be the easiest way to settle this but im not replacing all of that ****.

i have a feeling Race arent going to be that low. ppl keep sayin theyll be lower than my sportlines, but my sportlines have sagged so much i think theyll be the same as the races, i just want visual proof. then ill order em.

What an idiotic statement. IIRC, Neuspeed springs are basically different colored H&Rs.

rich, have you ever even had a different set of springs on your car to know the difference? i hear ppl telling me to get this or that, and theyve never tried anything different than what they currently have. im most likely getting H&R's but i gotta see what the Race look like, how low.

Stock

H&R race

Hope that helps. BTW, If you still need a block to build for that turbo setup I'll hook you up.

Sorry for being off-topic (I did post a pic though). I just left the HPER and I saw your car man. It's even nicer up close. What size tires do you have? It seems lower than my car and I thought my car was low.

If there's nothing wrong with your Sportlines, why are you changing them out? I really like those springs.

they seem to be sagging unevenly. basically my car is pulling hard to the right lately.. it cant be aligned within spec either, it still pulls to the right. so it was on the lift held up by the front crossmember and the passenger side wheel was hangin about 5'' further down than the drivers side.

now, i would assume it was a strut that was ****ed up.. but theyre koni yellows and they arent leaking. im not sure how i would go about doing the lifetime warrantly on them because i dont have the receipt..

im starting to get tired of how bouncy the sportlines are, and plus, springs have gotten a LOT cheaper since i originally bought mine, so its no big deal to get new ones.

just trying to narrow things down one by one.
