wassup guyz, well i just got a 94 lude.. and i was wondering if i should go show or race... if i was to go show.. what kit.. and appliances should i get? and if i were to go race.. what mods should i get? thanks!
Race-I guess you could just start with I/H/E and take it from there do you have an s, si, or vtec??you could also get new spark plugs and wires, cam gears, pullies, and nitrous...for Show my personal favorite is Wings West Racing Series (WWRS) kit, very clean look. Springs (Eibach, H&R, or Neuspeed) and Koni Yellows, KYB AGX, or Tokico for shocks. Then for wheels whatever you like is what you should go with, racing hart has a lot of nice options though. Interior you could get a new shifter, boot, cd player, interior speakers, subs and what goes with those, dvd player, ps2 setup, tv...the options are endless...if ur pockets are DEEP you can do anything Like most people say, with the right amount of cash anything is possible.
Originally posted by ExodusFX I would go for a balance of both, until you finaly decide for yourself whether or not you want to go more in one direction or the other.
word... do the I/H/E and a nice kit, then drop it, then get rims, from ther deciede where u want to go

i agree ... with my 96 vtec, i went i/e with plugs and wires, dropped, rims, new clutch.... I wanted a balance of both but after i get all my exterior stuff done, i'm heading straight for race! wish me luck

I think with the balancing you will be the most satistfied because as you progress you won't have the sleeper look or the "ricer" look...a fast lude is always complimented with a nice look.
i love sleeper, it that unexpected factor that sets it off, u know... plus since i can never win the looks game down in san diego, and i live in a strict, polices infested city on the weekend, sleeper is where i am headed

supz guyz thanks for ur inputs. Right now i have a tanabe exhaust and 18" rims... what kind of coil overs do you guy suggest i should geT? and what kind of headers should i get?
I see you are in sothern california area. We have a lot of large prelude meets here. You should go to one sometime. We need more 4th gen support. Did you specify what trim level you have yet?

Yeah, definately. Also check out the SoCal board on hondaprelude.com. It is very slow, but I just become moderator of it so I am hoping to get it more active.
Also, hows that site coming brendon? Have you spoken to Raman lately? Or is that just an idea in the past?

Vietboy....if you have H22 then the world is your playground when it come to headers...
DC are good and cant go wrong with GReddy(Trust) however...I think Mugen (also check into Spoon or Toda Racing) are the best unfortunatale they dont offer Mugen for my H23 so I'm stuck with DC and the crap non-JDM headers.
As for coilover Tein are good but $$$ Ground Control are good bargains also try Skunk2 they make good stuff if you cant afford the better stuff from Japan (Mugen, etc).
