what should i do with my cylinder head

so my valve seals and guides are pretty much gone. my question is should i get a new head and just replace my current one or just replace my seals and guides? also...should i take it so a shop to change everything, or is it not very difficult to change it myself?

its a h32 engine with 130000 miles. thanks

I would just get a new head and get that head either built better or just up to spec.

That way you have spare parts and/or a better base part to work with.

When this happened to me, I just took it to the shop and replaced the guides, seals, and any necessary valves. I can't remember the cost. Also, unless you're going for monster HP, don't worry about going with anything other than OEM.
