mine is around 4200 or 4300. my tach is way off i think because we have one of those things that clocks you in our neighborhood and when i drive by it going around 40 in says im going like 32.

since when are you driving at 100mph for more than a few seconds? When I'm on long trips doing 80 I get a consistent 26mpg which is what Honda claims. I'll live with that considering I can pull out and pass in an instant without downshifting. Fast gearing is goooood. Wouldn't mind a 6th gear though...

YES! i love the fact that my si can easily pass someone on the freeway without having to downshift. id rather cruise at 80mph at 4000rpm and have power on demand rather than cruise at like 3000rpm and have excellent gas mileage.

As does mine.

As for the box-radars, I wouldn't calibrate your speedo with those, they're not very accurate.

running at high rpms does not mean the car gets bad milage. i cruise 80 on the freeway at 4k and get 27-28mpg. A large engine has to cruise at low rpms to get good milage though but not a small efficient engine.

I would love to have my first 5 gears short ratio and then a nice long cruising 6th gear for highway.

I'm at 4.3k @ 80mph. I'm constantly driving on long boring roads to and from school. I'm dieing for a 6th gear.

a cop wont do that...unless u know them...or u intentionally speed a 10 over ticket might be cheaper than getting it calibrated
