What is the piece above the rear of the center console. I have never seen it before.

I've never seen it before either, it appears to be a folding arm rest.

I think it can be put foward of the compartment so the driver can have an arm rest. I MUST HAVE IT!

That piece is an armrest for the driver. I've seen it on a 92 and the way it's shaped is so that the parking brake will not hit the armrest when it is pulled up.

i have that on my 92...it came with the car when i got it...its an armrest that goes in the middle of the 2 seats and like said before it is shaped like that to allow the ebrake to be pulled up without hitting the armrest...all 92s didnt come with that?

makes the rear seats even more unusable though, in case you actually do try to use them.

No it's not custom, the guy just didn't know where the piece went. I assume it goes on the front end of the console.

Want to sell me yours?

I had one in mine. that thing was fawking annoying. it was a dealer option. You know that coin tray? well what they use is a special coin tray and the upper half has two slots in it and the armrest goes through that and mounts onto a bracket mounted underneath the whole console.

so if you want that in your car I'm pretty sure you'll need to find the bracket...

that thing is *** as hell though trust me

oh, you guys realize that it doesn't go where it's pictured right? it connects so the tip of it goes around the ebrake sorta, and the rear connects into the change holder...
