What motor came stock?

What motor came stock on a 95 si vtech? I was told there was a motor swap from a 99. I wanted to check and make sure.

h22a1 if you have a motor from a 99 the engine code will be h22a4

Hoew many places are the engine code, and where are they. I have only seen one located to the left of the header. Are they anywhere else?

That's it. Whatever it says is what you have. If you want a complete rundown of all the codes, please look in the N/A Performance Library thread in the N/A forum.
