what maitenence when?? - Honda Prelude Forum

i have a prelude SI 77 thousand miles change the oil every 3 thousand miles. Don't know exactly how the previous owner took care of it. What are things that should be changed and what maitenence should be done when? What can i upgrade when i do regular maitenence? What should be done at 90k that is different from regular maitenence. Is there a site which details how to do all the maitenence? Thanks

From my own personal experience I would definetly do the timing belt now

. Some say 90k, I would do it around 75k. My belt broke at 88k and it wasn't pretty.

It's detailed in the service manual. Buy one, it's the best investment you can make. helminc.com

i'd get your timing belt done around 80K. i replaced mine at 80K and when i looked at the old belt, it was very cracked!

Changed mine at 90K and the belt was in great condition.
