Hey....92k isn't that many miles for a 94. I just bought a 92 with 191k, and it's running like a dream. In my experience, look for oil leaks, or any other fluid. Drive it like you would normally, and listen carefully to the engine. If it's a 5-spd, pay close attention to the clutch and any noises it may make. Check underneath the car for any wear and tear, or odd smells. Just basically pay attention to how the car looks and drives. Good luck.

Get records of what they've done to the car. I think by 90K, it should have a new timing belt...

ask for records of oil chages evry 3k and see if they have replaced timing belt and water pump at 60-90k miles make HARD turns to listen for clicking (see if the cv's are good) the clutch and shifting, if auto put it in neutral and drive a few times and listen to tranny ask if it's been in a wreck and how many owners or save time and spend 20 bucks take it to a local shop and have them check it out.
