Ever since I have been coming to this board all my ideas for my car have changed. I have become more educated about my prelude, reading the many posts that people post here daily and answers to them, some of which I have posted myself. But before I have come here I have spent $295+$155 shipping on the omega peice of ish body kit I dont want anymore because all my ideas have become biased since coming to this board. Ex. The prelude looks the best on its stock look, body kits are just ricey, keep the prelude looking clean. I do agree now that the prelude looks best clean and stock looking now, but now I have a body kit sitting in my room for I don't even know how long. And the worst thing was I spent almost 500 bucks on something I have never used. I hate you guys, but thanks a lot.
I don't know what you're talking about. Sure, there are people on the board that think the Prelude should remain in it's factory state, but there are some bodykits that actually compliment the cars factory bodylines, such as the Omega. I like it A LOT. I want it for my 4th gen., but there are also bodykits that look really gaudy, ricey, whatever you wanna call them. It's just a matter of one's taste really. If you like it, put it on the car, I wouldn't worry about what these other people think.

One of the biggest problem of joining this board and letting other member's opinion become your own is that MOST (i'll probably get flamed on) are more into speed then being into show.
I don't know if they don't understand that some of us are here to show off the car and not run 12s in the 1/4 miles. Then they like to bag us for getting an aggressive body kit, dropping the car, putting 19s, etc. Sorry if i'm not all into the speed and fun of the car i guess.
I know what i'm doing to my car next is going to shock alot of people and i'll probably be one of the most hated prelude owner in the world (atleast on this board).
But if you want to do what you want, then do it and stuff basing your ideas with everyone on this board.
Good Luck!

You don't have to go by our opinion, the body kit is your choice. Do what you like, not what we tell you to do.
I mean I agree with you, I have no replaced my clear corners with all ambers....so yea, somethings have a huge influence on what you read.
As for the kit, if you don't plan on using it....sell it?

Omega has to many lines and holes, it just doesnt look right anymore to me, but if I were to fill in some of the unnessary holes it would probably look nice. Gonna bust out the bondo later this week. I just need to do something with this kit thats been lying in my house for awhile. I had a choice of getting the wings west kit instead and I regret getting this one. It doesnt matter though I'll do something to it to make myself like it. Any suggestions. Going for a clean sexy look and the metal grills are a no no to me.
Hey what's up Skylude! Just a thought. If you decide to sell that Omega bumper, let me know. I've been looking for one for awhile now. I know where I can always pick one up, but one man's garbage is another man's treasure. So PM me if your interested. Maybe one day I'll be a stock guy too, but till then, I like my kits riding on my 18's. Thanks man
