What the hell is heavy duty ACT clutch?

I don't know what's the difference between stock clutch and this ACT heavy duty street clutch...any idea???

What about ACT 4 pad and 6 pad racing clutches???

The Heavy Duty pressue plate is better than stock. If your going turbo you may want the the Extreme plate, but the clutch will be very stiff.

The Street disc is probably the disc you should be running in either pressure plate. The 6 puck is streetable, but will not be very smooth. The 4 puck is all out drag race, not for street. Basically you'll have harsh engagment and it will eventually ruin other tranny parts or the driveline. I'd rather have it wear the clutch the disc cause that is cheaper to fix.

heavy duty is the pressure plate...i run an extreme plate with street disc i think its the HA3-XTSS but my car will have a turbo on it (soon as the freaking thing comes in) ..but anyway its 95 percent stiffer pedal if u go to www.advancedclutch.com u can see how much stiffer it would be and what torque it will hold and all the usefull info u need

I have both clutches. I went with the XTSS clutch which is the xtreme pressure plate. It has a 90-95% increase in clamping power, but is a ***** to drive with. I would NOT suggest this clutch. It is a pain in the ass... hard to drive daily driven with. Even if u have turbo, i wouldn't get it, unless ur car is putting out over 350lbs of torque. Use the HDSS clutch, its softer and only a lil stiffer than stock. This clutch is good for both N/A cars and cars that have a turbo but not boosting like 12psi.

lol its not that hard to drive with man just have to adapt to it i love it now i dont even realize its stiff anymore but to each his own huh at first i didnt like it though as long as u dont run extreme disc then u are allright with any combo but if its just a stock lude then sure go with the hdss u dont need the one like ive got

Chrips in 3rd... Hmmmm you are aware that when you install a clutch it takes like 400 miles to break it in right? I know this is a true statement by witnessing my friend's Integ with a new clutch, he drove it hard right out the shop and drove it hard right back in the shop.

if you want that grip and bite to last do the break in period, and try to limit the crazy driving. everything wears down eventually, unless you're made of money try not to accelerate that wear.
