What to expect to pay for heater core replacement?

Noticed sticky stuff building up on my windshield on the passenger side... I think my heater core is leaking

I've had some cars where this isn't a big job and some that are like 8 hours book time... what should I expect to pay for this?

Heater Core (OEM) plus ac compressor (OEM) for the prelude cost around below $200 and for the actual job if not DIY it would cost Service Fee + Labor Fee.

I hope that helps somewhat.

Probably better to just call some local shops for an estimate...

Haven't found any local Honda shops... just generic mechanics.

If I'm paying book labor maybe I'll go to the dealer! haha

Expect to pay quite a lot for labor as the dash has to come out for this job. I had to have the same thing done a couple of years back and there is no other way to access the core other than to remove the whole dash.
