What engines fit in a 94 S?

I wanna do an engine swap on my lude, i have an f22a1 but i wanna see what engines fit without having to do a new tranny or motor mounts. my current engines done so powers not really a priority, ill put another f22 if i have to but i figure if im gonna be swapping the engine anyway might as well upgrade. and if i go with an h22 what other changes do i need to make?

Gonna have to add 3 plugs, knock sensor, spool valve and VTEC oil pressure switch.

also you guys know of a good reliable place to buy engines, my biggest worry is that i invest all this money into a swap and then finding out the new engines worse than the current one so id rather stay away from junkyards

If you do that you might as well build a hybrid motor, an H22a head will bolt to that block but will need some modification to be fully functional.

F22b2 block+H22a1 head, F22 VTEC, F22B/VTEC - Honda-Tech

G series ftw.

ive heard of that but some people say that for the money and modifications itd be the same as just dropping in a h22, but ill worry about that when i actually have a running car and some money saved up to put into it
