what else can wrong!

i swear to gawd this prelude has a curse on it. anyways on to my 34908234804th problem of this car..the clutch lost its pressure while i was driving and then it wouldnt get into gear. the pedal felt very flimsy and it wouldnt engage. i checked my master slave cylinder resovoior i think thats what its called and there was no fluid inside of it...anyone know whats going on?

mine did that one day a while ago...i left it for the night...tried to drive it the next day to get it home and after two blocks or tuning the car off to shift at a stop light it decided to work normal again

no problem since...so i dunno

but most likely you need a new slave cylinder or master cylinder

Slave and master cylinders are very common items to go on the Prelude. Mine had at least 3 of them go bad.

When they are going bad, you can add fluid and pump the clutch pedal for a bit, to get you to the shop. Doesn't always work, but it worked for me.

I had this exact same problem a few weeks ago. I filled the resovoir, and have had no problems since. There is no puddles in my parking space and the fluid level hasnt dropped since I filled it. Wierd.

I had the same thing happen. I had the dealership fix it though (stupid), they charged an arm and a leg (i think like $300)

do it yourself, the install seems pretty straight forward
