What does the AVC-R do?

I saw this on MIND-ERACER and I didn't know what it does? Can someone give me a clue??

it is a air/fuel thingy....dammit i cant think of the word.... but yeah it can change some stuff with ur air\fuel stuff but it is highly recomended that u dyno ur car before u use one of these... the one shown has some advanced options look on the website for more info on extra options.
