what do you guys think, synthetic or standard oil?

I'm running a 92 2.3 h23a with 125k on it. so should i keep it standard oil, or go with synthetic, or what about that high mileage crap? does it do any good?

I've read in a few thread on this site that if you change to synthetic very late in the game, i.e. 125k miles, you may tend to burn oil b/c of how worn the piston rings may be at that mileage. Please don't quote me on this, as it's been awhile since I read discussions on this. I heard that if you've been using one oil or the other, that you shouldn't switch late in the game...

"If you build it, they will come" ... It might help soem as they put detergents in there to help out supposedly... To clena build up and what not.. Its up to you... All I hear is that all regular oils are the same.... But pepsi and coke are not the same are they? So, I couldnt answer that one for sure... They claim it does what it says it does, so I say believe what you want... Bill Clinton " ... did not have sexual relations with that women..." Liars are everywhere.... And, there are drugs out there that will make your penis 4" longer too... You see, twisting words and decieveing people is possible... Oh, that drug is viagra.... Think about it... You can see how ppl can claim that **** now? Increases gerth and length... Well, getting hard does that.... Look at things closely before you fall into it...

the high mileage stuff has conditioners for seals and is meant to stop leaks and such.
