what do u think my si engine/tranny is worth?

I'm pretty sure my car will be totaled soon, i have a si engine that's in perfect shape w/73,700 miles. Can I get any money from this? Has anyone sold theirs? I have no idea what to even ask for it if i sell it. I have intake header and pulleys and some plug wires on it, would i wanna take those off and sell it stock and sell the aftermarket or just sell it as is? any advice????

Make sure you sell the ECU with it as well. You'll be able to get a good chunk of change from it. I'd take the pullies off your hands if the price is right.

with that few of miles on it, you can get a lot for it. some go for 1200-1500 or more even for the engine alone. good manual h23 trannies go for 800+ from junkyards.

You can get 500-700 if you wait for the right offer, you have pretty low miles so you should be able to get atleast 5 for it. Seen higher milage one go for 200.

800 for a tranny!?!?!? I paid 250 shipped to my house. Since you're selling it and can provide more information than a j-yard you can ask for more.

I own a junk yard here in vegas and I'll tell you first hand that I can get the h23 engine alone (no ecu) for around 800, but I heard them going up to 1400...

The tranny can run around 500-800.....

Yeah I know its crazy, but hey... its life and people got to make a living...
