what to do?

my car has been basically sittin for the past year and a half, only driven in and out of small parking lot, my car is boggin and hesitatin when driven below 5mph, my friends mechanic put my engine my from 93 into a 96 chassis and told me he missed a vacuum hose and didnt know where it went.....i think thas the problem so my car is runnin like **** in low gears, what i want to know is what ELSE do i need to do so it can run betta? i already used fuel inj. cleaner and octane boost......got an oil change like 1000k ago, but since the engine has basically been sittin, do i need to flush the fluids or get anotha oil change? thnx
ohh and the engine has not even 73k on it
