The JDM version has a higher compression ratio; 10.6:1 vs. 10.0:1, If I recall correctly.

It also had a very slight hp and torque advantage, more than likely due to higher CR

I think the JDM motor puts out 10 more hp to the flywheel...JDM = 200 hp USDM = 190 hp...i think....

More like 7. JDM = 200 PS = 197 HP
