What could the problem be from ??

I've been having a problem my gas mileage since I did my JDM H22 swap. So far i've bought a V-AFC and had it tuned, cleaned my injectors, cleaned my CAI Filter, cleaned my TB, installed a new MSD Coil. Im also running new NGK blue wires, new plugs, new cap & rotor. and im still getting 22 mpg at best. I use to get 26mpg on my H23 driving similar to how i drive the H22. Thing is if I run my car hard everyonce in awhile i'll throw a O2 code. Im wondering if my problem could be my cat or the universal O2 sensor I have thats got 30k on it .
I was thinking about buying a carsound cat any opinions?

Thanks
Dane

i think its just about normal, i have cai, headers, highflow cat, catback, msd, coil, iridium plugs, neuspeed wires, all dirty has hell, but i still get bout 24 mpg. thats bout 390 miles on a full tank. i dont run it that hard, but i mean, i open it up when someone tries me, but nothin major ya kno. Sounds about normal to me. i thought with exhaust and all that it would go down, but only changed about a gallon or so.

when you gas tank says empty you actually still have about 3 gallons or so of gas left in your tank. its kinda of so you dont ever run out of gas.
the gas take holds 15.9 gallons when my gauge has like 1 bar left I fill up for about 12-13 gallons.

Are you doing the match based on mileage from fill up to fillup exempting the gas that is still in the tank ??

On my H23 I get approx 450KM to 50 liters of gas .. converted thats: ~275miles per 12.5 gallons. == 22MPG

I burn 3qts between changes, exhaust and intake. I think my cat might be dirty too ..so im saving up for a swap.

thats always city driving and i often shift over 5k too .. if i baby it im sure I can get lots, I get ~380miles on highway when I go easy ... == ~29MPG

my engine has 125k miles on it ...

anyways, the point of my post .. accurately measure your mileage .. you fill it up, the gas pump "pops" and stops filling, check the gallons .. 12.5 filled, check your odometer.. says 300miles .. == 24mpg ... I think our cars are what?? 22city 25 highway ??
