What can you tell me about a "S" Lude

Hey guys, Sorry im a newbie here but I do love preludes to death so much I saved every penny I earned for 2 years so I could buy one. The one I ended up with was a very nice reciently repainted 94 "S" model with some really nice rims and tires but what im asking is how does the s stand up to the si and vtec, how does it respond to I/h/e among other mods, is there a better engine to put in there and just general things I guess. I am really excited to own this car but can I get a little info please

135HP, 14X lb ft of torque SOHC. Not the strongest motor, but it gets good gas milage.

i've got an AEM CAI, DC headers, hi flo cat, and apex'i dunk exhaust. It a lot better than it would be and with all the little stuff it will be just as fast as an SI, but go with a VTEC swap if you get a chance, thats what i'm doing in a few months.

Adding I/H/E to an S model will give you some noticable gains don't expect too after but you'll notice a little increase in power and acceleration.

like sik96prelude said, just enjoy the car you got. 4th gen lude is a pretty car. And, don't worry about spending too much money on your car unless you want to race it. At least I don't!!! So, just put the CAI and header and nice muffler (I/H/E) basically it is enough.

enjoy your car.

I am surprised there weren't any harsh words said on the "ugly duckling"...welcome to the club!

I wish I didn't have OBDII though but I have the :workaround" installed. Great gas mileage, great looking and I beat a modded Eclipse GS and an auto Teggy LS (rolling)! stock....

10.46secs@1/8mi fully stock (no filter)
No runs yet after the mods above

Goodluck and have fun with it if you choose to get it.

Yah!?! *sarcasm*

I only ran my car once at the track....best thing about this particular run is that I had the opportunity to see a 427 Shelby Cobra run right beside me (or ahead of me )...test and tune run...he ran like a 8.xx secs on the eighth
