What to buy...

getting a 94 prelude with an h22 in it. Performance wise, whats the best thing to do with it. I have about 1000 to spend.

intake and exhaust, lowering springs

Get a good intake and exhaust.
300-500
lowering springs
150-450
then drive like hell

get a good suspesion shock/coilover combo. dont go cheap on it either. make sure and get camber kits if you lower over an inch

AND make sure to save some money for general maintenance if that hasn't been done in a while. stuff happens - just be prepared

I don't know where you are getting your prices from, but I would like to see a good exhaust AND intake for 3-5 hundred.

Lowering springs don't help much but lower the car. Much more economical to buy the right shock or coilovers first.

okay so high quality suspension upgrades and money for servicing. all sounds good, I dont know much about honda's yet so i appreciate the info. Is the lude's suspension weak?

^no but most preludes are getting higher mileage and bushings are getting old.

It just helps and is a very noticeable difference if you pick the right parts.

do a cat back best mod to start with u will notice the difference, but if u live in cali then do the cat back but with the stock muffler, i did a 2.5 with the stock muffler. i liked it. or get a light weight flywheel.
