What did you find out from searching? Nothing new has really come out in terms of performances parts so the information is still relevant.
how bout something cheaper? like the vibrant? ive checked the n/a forum but i cant tell which is for 4th gen... and im broke.. so whats the best header for like $600 bucks? maybe $500?
Question about the headers. If there made out of the same stainless steel, and welded together the same, does the brands matter? Curious because my two friends bought two different ones. One bought a generic one that has no label and the other has a megan racing one. The generic created more horsepower and they have all the same mods but the diff brands of headers. Why would you get more HP out of the generic instead of a decent brand name one, and yes the both have the same car 93 vtec
^not true. Custom ones can yield more power because they are designed better.
Also you could have both cars dyno that morning and the very next morning and still get different results. It's hard to compare because engines dont' always produce the same amount of power and are in different conditions.
I would take dyno's with a grain of salt.

damn its like $800 bucks... will having a smaller collector size like the greddy gimme more low end? im pretty sure i have a 60mm rsr exaust not sure bout my cat...bought car used.. thanks guys
if you are looking for good power a greddy/megan/dc etc.. ARE NOT going to do it.
the only ones that i have heard that actually add some good power are the custom ones like smsp, rmf, and hytech. but they also are very expensive.
if you dont really care to much about getting power out of a header...then just get like a megan header or even some ebay header. they are all the same practically.
all of them add about the same amount of power.
dont get a greddy when its more expensive then a megan when they are basically the same thing.
I had a megan once, it ripped a big hole in itself because the metal couldn't withstand the vibrations from the motor, which is why whenever someone buys one, we always advise NOT to hookup the b-pipe to block.
Also Greddy's come with a carb stamp some people need.

im not saying megan is good by any means. but a lot have people i know that have a megan header have had it on for a couple years now with no problems... so i just dont see paying the amount of money for the greddy when you can get a megan or something for a lot cheaper with the same power adds...
just my .02
unless they do indeed need that carb stamp.. then i guess that would be a good reason to get a greddy instead.
any logo brand or generic brand, espically stainless steel headers would do better than stock. like he said, they all do the same thing. your question about the lowend idk cuz im not using megan headerz.
You can pick up a DC Sports header thats ceramic coated for like $400 bucks man. Nice aftermarket product and your not gonna get hit over the head w/the price. Like everyone is saying there not as good as custom and some others but way beter than stock. Just like anything you get what you pay for. If your all about stop and go you need torque. Research the ones that will give you the best gains in torque and go with it if its in your $$$$ range. I got a DC on my 93 vtec and it seems to be working out just fine for me.
