What AC/PS belt on JDM H22a Crank pulley - Honda Prelude Forum

I had a swap done about 5 months ago, and ive been through 3 PS/AC belts .The belt they put on during the swap is for a USDM H22a. All the shops that have looked at the shredded belt when i bring it in, put the same damn belt on. I took it in to the shop that did the swap and they wanted to put a new pulley on, but called Honda to get the specs on the correct pulley. The pulley is good, and i dont really want to swap it unless i have to. Can i just use a H23 belt?

I've been using the F22 belts for 2.5 years now. . .

Thanks a lot! I will pick one up for the next time the belt brakes.

Do you happen to know the Honda PN or how can i tell Honda what i need?

It should be the same as the H23 belt . . .all the accessory pullies are the same as far as I know.

i had the same problem with my ALT/AC. I told Advanced Auto I had a VTEC prelude and they gave me a belt that was too small. I asked them for the next size up in the same width and he said the next belt is about an inch more. Fit like a gem. The regular VTEC prelude PS belt fit on fine however.
