Well im not sure about how much stuff is interchangable, i know the switches for the sunrroof and cruise are. My suggestion would be just trying it out.

I don't know which ones for sure...just check part numbers....actually ask in the 5th gen forum of the differences between the SH and Base suspensions....

Do a search

Easily Compatible parts between 4th and 5th gen (besides the obvious)

Shocks, Springs (except SH), Upper spring mounts, Rear lower tie bar, Rear antiwaybar, Rear upper strut bar, Some front upper strut bars
Brake calipers, Brake lines, Brake pads, Master Cylinder
Intake, Cat, Axel back Muffler,
Clutch, Flywheel
Wires, plugs (on h22s but not between h22 and h23), Cams, Cam gears, Cylinder Head, TB
Fuel pump
Timing belt tensioner
Transmission
Hubs and wheel axles

Some stuff that is not so obvious...

4th gen and 5th gen seats have different bolt locations.

Headers are not interchangable, even between base and SH.
5th Gen tires are slightly larder in diameter

5th Gen has two O2 sensors, one before and one after the cat. 4th Gen has only one before the cat.

90% of the H22 engine parts are interchangable except the injectors, and the pistons. 4th gen Injectors have a resistor pack, and 5th gen pistons have a press in wrist pin. Get the proper supporting hardware and they'll work in either engine. (incl. h23)

A H22 Intake manifold will not fit on an H23 engine, however, the throttle bodies are interchangable.

H23 Engine uses a single valve spring setup and h22 uses a double. You can make h22 springs work in a h23 but it's expensive (I did it) The h22 outer spring is about 1mm larger in Diameter.

H23 Crank will fit into h22 engine and vice versa (except there have been some changes in the main jounal size from 1997 up)

H23 Cam gears fit B series motors

H22 valve spring retainers fit B series motors

Yes the TB are the same.. I recently gave my spare H23 TB to a 5th gen H22 owner .. My new H22 is currently using my old H23 TB

I have a completely overbored throttle body here, probably from an H22, as well as 2 spare intake manifolds

to contribute to this thread: 4'th gen seats are way better then 5'th gen seats, hands down. Thats one thing you DONT wanna give up

You could do a 5-lug swap. Check this site for a good write-up.

Type SH knuckles WILL NOT WORK on a 4th gen. I know this because i had a set and could not use the double ball joint that the TYPE SH has. You can still use the rear knuckles from a SH since its the same as the base. As for a 5th gen Spoon FRONT upper strut bar working on a 4th gen, that's false. I had a 5th gen one and it was longer. If you look at part numbers they are different. 5th gen REAR upper/lower will fit fine since its the same size. Coilovers, springs, shocks, struts are all interchangeable. Obviously the motor stuff is interchangable EXCEPT certain SH parts like the tranny/block. Brakes are same size as well. ITM and TB is the same.
