whats under the cd player? it looks like it says alpine.

^someone in that area should pick that up for cheap. no offers on it. part it out or save it and fix that car. 149K id pick it up if i was close.

looks like some sort of equalizer? thats just a guess though pic is bad, and Im not familiar with different equalizer styles.

It looks like it's made by Clarion, ie not stock. Does the car have a CD changer in the trunk? That's what it looks like it's for.

my buddy has the factory cd changer in his prelude and its hooked up through the stock cd player, so i would say its a custom fitted boost controller or equalizer like someone said above

it's a control unit for a cd changer which is probably located in the trunk. you can tell by the controls.

also, it has the "compact disc" symbol under the lcd display
