My exhaust has been crapping out on me lately and I brought it down the Midas and they said replace from the cat back and it would be $400 so I decided may as well get aftermarket. I have a 92 Si and I would like to get a Greddy but know they don't fit. My local shop has the following exhausts that will fit the Si.
5 Zigen Fireball $500
A'PEXi World Sport series cat back $380
A'PEXI N1 cat back exhaust $480
Dc Sports stainless exhaust $480
I want something that is not extremely loud and I want it to have that deep throaty noise.
I have the WS on my SI. It's very quiet. At first it was pretty much as quiet as the stock exhaust. Now, it is just slightly deeper and a little grittier. I would not say it is an extremely deep sound though. Build quality looks great and top end seems slightly more open. The N1 is extremely loud.
BTW, if your price quote was for $380 BEFORE tax, you can get the WS from aieonline for I think $385 shipped to your door.
well ludester I would but my local doesn't have it and I really don't have enough to have an exhaust shipped so I will look around as I plan on getting it next week.

Yet another convert. What exhaust did you have before?
If I hadn't found my RS*R, I was most likely going to buy a WS. I was also interested in the Greddy exhaust systems, they are quality products and seem fairly quiet.

I used to have a Brullen a while ago and then i bought the RSR at the same time you did when that guy was doing the special on hondasociety.com. Basically, you're the reason i have this exhaust! When was that anyway, like last january, right? I think that's when i installed it. Not to good of a memory
I have a Greddy SP on my 92 Si and a Tanabe Super Racing Medallion on my 93 Si. Both are quality exhausts and sound great. The Greddy is about 5 years old and STILL sounds good. But I really like the sound from the Tanabe and it's not as loud as I thought it might be because of the small muffler...
